Acceptance of Terms By accessing or using caribou.top ("the Platform"), you ("User" or "you") agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and all applicable gaming laws. If you disagree with any terms, you may not use the Platform. We reserve the right to modify these Terms—revised versions will be posted with an updated effective date. Continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance. 2. Eligibility To use the Platform, you must: Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) Possess the legal capacity to enter binding agreements Provide accurate, complete registration information (including valid device details if applicable) Not be banned from cross-platform gaming services due to prior violations Users under 18 must have parental/guardian consent to make purchases or participate in multiplayer matches with strangers. 3. Account Responsibilities 3.1 Account Creation You must create an account to access cross-platform and multiplayer features. You agree to: Use a unique username and secure password (minimum 8 characters) Provide truthful information (false details may result in cross-device sync issues) Not share account credentials (account sharing violates cross-device security) Notify us immediately of unauthorized access or device linking 3.2 Account Termination We may suspend/terminate your account without notice for: Violating these Terms or cross-platform rules Cheating, hacking, or using unauthorized software (e.g., aimbots, lag switches) Fraudulent activity (e.g., fake device information, payment disputes) Harassing other players or disrupting multiplayer matches Inactive accounts may be deleted after 12 months of inactivity (with prior notice) You may delete your account by contacting [email protected]—cross-device data retention follows our Privacy Policy. 4. User Conduct You agree to maintain fair, respectful cross-platform multiplayer environments: Prohibited activities include: Cheating, hacking, modifying game files, or exploiting bugs to gain unfair advantages Harassing, threatening, or discriminating against other players (including voice chat abuse) Sharing copyrighted content, malware, or phishing links Impersonating staff, other players, or cross-platform partners Intentionally disrupting multiplayer matches (e.g., team-killing, disconnecting repeatedly) Spamming in-game chat or voice channels with irrelevant content Violations may result in account termination, permanent bans from multiplayer, or device blacklisting. 5. Intellectual Property 5.1 Platform Ownership All Platform content (games, software, cross-device sync tools, graphics, logos) is owned by caribou.top or its licensors, protected by U.S. and international IP laws. You may not reproduce, modify, reverse-engineer, or distribute content without explicit written permission. 5.2 User-Generated Content (UGC) You retain ownership of UGC (e.g., multiplayer match highlights, custom game settings). By posting UGC, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote the content for cross-platform gaming purposes (e.g., community showcases, multiplayer tutorials). You warrant UGC does not infringe third-party rights. 6. Service Availability We strive for seamless cross-platform service but do not guarantee 24/7 availability. We may suspend service for maintenance, cross-device compatibility updates, or technical issues (with advance notice when possible). We are not liable for cross-device sync failures or multiplayer disruptions due to technical issues. 7. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law: The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties (express or implied) We are not liable for direct/indirect damages (e.g., lost cross-device progress, multiplayer disputes) Our total liability for any claims is limited to $100 (or the value of any purchases made) This excludes liability for gross negligence, fraud, or personal injury. 8. Indemnification You agree to indemnify caribou.top, its staff, and partners from: Claims, damages, or legal fees arising from your use of the Platform Violations of these Terms or third-party rights Disruptive behavior in multiplayer matches 9. Dispute Resolution Disputes are governed by Alaska law. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Anchorage County courts. Small claims may be resolved through binding arbitration. 10. Termination These Terms remain in effect until terminated. We may terminate for any reason—you must cease using the Platform upon termination. 11. Miscellaneous These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and caribou.top. Invalid provisions do not affect others. Our failure to enforce terms does not waive them.
